I am building a new home and need to choose tile flooring to coordinate with the vanity and cabinet selections in the bathroom. I am planning to use white vanity with blue pearl granite (looks dark gray with silver specks) top. What ceramic tile color would work with this combo?

the home building stores usually have design catalogs that accompany their products, and in the pictures there’s usually a coordinating tile that goes with vanity and cabinet selections.
without seeing any pics, though, i might go with the blue pearl granite for tile floors rather than white. (i currently have white tile floors and they’re heck to clean). or if the blue pearl granite is too dark, i’d pick out one of the medium colors in the tile. keeping the color scheme in any room to within 3-4 colors ensures a calm, sophisticated look.

Question by nilla wafer: How often should I clean my fish tank?
I have a 2.5 gallon fish tank and 3 very small fish that won’t get much larger. I have a filter, gravel, and 2 small plants in there. It’s all brand new so I havent put my fish in the new tank yet. It says the filter should operate 24 hours prior to putting the fish in the tank. How often should I clean it once my fish are in there?
the fish are a 3/4 inch goldfish (who is about to die), a 1 1/4 inch black moor (who according to the salesman won’t grow more than a 1/2 inch bigger), and a 1/2 inch longfin rosy barb

to prevent from having to clean it all the time you should purchase some alagie eaters they help keep the dirt out. Also if your tank is by a window or by any sun light it will get dirty much faster. I would say it depends on the type of fish. Never purchase gold fish they are very dirty

When you go to the fish store, ask the store clerk for suggestions. That is a good sized tank, so you should be able to put quite a few in there. A nice “community” group would be cool – neons, zebras, sword tails, moons, mollies, catfish…They all get along pretty well.

ummm you can put freshwater clams…lets see as someone told me glassfish glass catfish umm gouramis, tetras,a betta, corydoras? and such. but watch out for types of fish put the peacefull fish of course with other peacefull

Today I discovered eggs and one of the angel fish happen to be guarding them. My tank has different fish (3 guppies, a bala shark, neon tetras, 2 goldfish, and a bit more) plus 3 angel fish. The guarding angel fish is doing okay and the angel fish never fight any fish in the tank. Anyways the question is what do I do if the eggs hatch? They are mostly unfertilized eggs, but I pobably can’t see some of the fertilized eggs. I do see some though, what do I do? The eggs are already in the tank full of fish.

as soon as they hatch watch and wait and watch your angels they will defend the eggs but watch for aggression I have two and they can get very nippy around breeding time.I recommend you read this it can be very helpful http://fins.actwin.com/fish/species/angelfish.html
again watch the aggression and I hope everything goes well and if it does and you find yourself in a bind with lots and lots, your local pet store (mostly privately owned) may take the little ones off of your hands

If you like colourful fish Neon Tetras are good. They are smaller fish with bold colours. Guppies are pretty as well but apparently it’s hard to tell sex because often you wake up with more fish the next morning than the night before.

After having visited off that coast and fished you can use any kind of spinner type lure or the old fashioned huge rapala lures to catch all sorts of fish such as mackerel and some salmon type fish and some grouper and some really fun pickerel and good luck with your fishing.

I hang all my VIP passes from places on a door knob.
A way of doing it though, is in a frame, lanyards are usually pretty flat so would go in a frame quite well with a piece of paper for backing.
